This tab sets the email templates which are sent to parents.
- template for the initial email to parents
- template to send to parents who have yet to give permission
- template to send to parents who have already given approval (you may use this template to send out additional information eg. "Great you're coming! Remember to bring...")
- template to send to parents who have declined approval permission eg. "Sorry you can't make it, but there is another excursion in 2 weeks..."

Before you send notifications to parents, make sure your email templates have been set in the Email Settings tab.
Once emails have been set and you're happy to send notifications to parents, click on the 
button. You will know once the Welcome Email has been sent as there will be a notification in the middle of the screen:
- Email has been sent to the parent but is unread
- Email has been opened by the parent
- Consent has been given by the parent
- Sends the Welcome Email template from the Email Settings tab to ALL parents
- Sends the Attending Students Parent Email Settings template from the Email Settings tab to ALL parents
- Sends the Not Attending Students Parent Email Settings template from the Email Settings tab to ALL parents
- Sends the Pending Students Parent Email Settings template from the Email Settings tab to ALL parents
To send an email to only one or a number of selected students, click on the students you wish to send emails to.
Selected students will have a blue background.
Non-selected students have a white background
Once a student or students are selected, the Send Email buttons will change
- Sends the Welcome Email template from the Email Settings tab to SELECTED parents only
- Sends the Attending Students Parent Email Settings template from the Email Settings tab to SELECTED parents only
- Sends the Not Attending Students Parent Email Settings template from the Email Settings tab to SELECTED parents only
- Sends the Pending Students Parent Email Settings template from the Email Settings tab to SELECTED parents only
